Been a rough weather for summer with the cyclone and all.. Fishing slowed down considerably but its been hard to get out and really cover water with the weather. Had some fun with the boys from the Cape and released a nice 500lb blue a week ago. Since then we have been fishing 30lb line class and have been dealt a few severe blows going 0-3 in the last two trips. The conditions have not exactly been ideal for light tackle but then there is no cure for optimism and hence the results are not surprising. Season tally on 19 marlin with over 50 strikes. Would have been many more releases but for the light tackle excursions and very poor hook ups due to the rough conditions. Some good weather predicted going towards the weekend..lets hope the fish oblige!
