Do I understand this huge document correctly than a angling license cost R69 and that when fishing from a boat the skipper needs to have over and above the R69 license, another license that cost R87?
This is absolutely stupid as on the bigger boats the skipper cannot even fish!

It also creates a huge problem for holidaymakers and tourists that cannot conveniently buy fishing licenses should they decide to go on a charter boat.

SADSAA should attempt to get the authorities to have one license per boat that will allow all the crew that the craft is permitted to legally carry, to legally fish without the need for any other license.
